WHAT IS A XENON HID?

- High Intensity Discharge (also known as Xenon)

- Known as Xenon (Xe) for the name of the gas (Xenon gas) found in bulb

- Simulates brightness of lightning during thunder storms

- A controlled electrical discharge causes the trapped Xenon gas to luminate

WHAT WILL MY XENON HID KIT INCLUDE?

Each kit includes:

- Two (2) direct plug-in XENON HID lamps

- Two (2) ballasts (transformer/igniter unit)

- Necessary wiring and wiring diagram

- Installation instructions

* All kits are OEM grade and DOT approved

* All components to complete installation included with kit

* Approximately one (1) hour needed to complete installation

* Do-It-Yourself installation

WHICH XENON HID KIT SHOULD I PURCHASE?

There are two (2) HID beam types ‘Single’ and ‘Dual’

Single Beam Model (11 types):

* If your vehicle uses two (2) separate bulbs to produce a Low and High Beam

* XENON HID Kits are sold separately as Low and High Beam

* PURCHASE THE APPROPRIATE HID KIT TO ENSURE PROPER FUNCTIONALITY

- H1/H3/H4/H7/H11

- 9004/9005/9006/9007/880/881

Dual Beam (Bi-Xenon) Model (5 types):

* If your vehicle uses one (1) bulb to produce both a Low and High Beam

* PURCHASE THE APPROPRIATE HID KIT TO ENSURE PROPER FUNCTIONALITY

- H4-2/H4-3/H13-3

- 9004-3/9007-3

Note: H4-2 or H4-3 HID KIT is interchangeable with the H4 type bulb.

D0 I HAVE TO PURCHASE THE ENTIRE XENON HID KIT?

Yes! A XENON HID KIT is needed for vehicles without required system.

- DO NOT attempt to install XENON HID bulbs in traditional lighting system
- Traditional wiring can not support the voltage required for XENON HID bulbs.

WHAT IS COLOR TEMPERATURE?

- The color temperature is purely a scale to measure the color of the light output.

- Color examples include white, green or blue.

Degrees (K) = COLOR

Lumen= BRIGHTNESS

The higher up the scale the lamps are the less bright they become

- (ex. 5200K lamps are brighter than the 7000K lamps)

ARE XENON HID LIGHTS AND XENON GAS-FILLED BULBS THE SAME?

NO!
